Ethio-Canadian Singer/Songwriter, Contemporary, folk, Roots Music.

Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia grown up to be drawn to any music related exposures and opportunities to be able to make a rewarding use of my participation and also help myself and my community benefit from its initiatives. Winning the first season of Balageru/Ethiopian Idol in 2015 has been a major breakthrough for me in pursuing music. Afterwards, I began participating in different showcases, and small to large scale musical  which helped me tour parts of my hometown and beyond. I have released few music video clips and engaged in diverse Ethiopian  musical genres for community development and fundraising. I took part in trainings, workshops and, cultural and professional exchange programs. Currently, living in Toronto performing in a band and other concerts and festivals.
